In 1951, Sir Hugh Beaver, then the managing director of the Guinness Brewery, realised that a book supplying the answers to this sort of question might prove popular. He was right!
Record Breaking Modded PCs
Guinness World Records is looking to add to the collection of extraordinary modded PCs featured in the 2008 Gamer’s Edition.
Have you built your own PC? Is it modded beyond all recognition? Does it look like G-gnome’s bizarre “Weapon of Mass Destruction” bomb modification shown here? Or is it more akin to a German Panzer tank, spaceship or a tumble-drier? If the answer to this question is “erm, kind of…” then let us know. We’re looking to feature the largest, smallest, most expensive, least expensive, heaviest, lightest, fastest CPU clock speed and generally most outrageous homemade computers in the world in Gamer’s Edition 2009.
