Twin Galaxies is the world authority on player rankings, gaming statistics and championship tournaments, with pinball statistics dating from the 1930s and video game statistics from the early 1970s.
OUR HISTORY
In 1951, Sir Hugh Beaver, then the managing director of the Guinness Brewery, realised that a book supplying the answers to this sort of question might prove popular. He was right!
Major League Baseball
Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition is partnering with 2K Sports to host an MLB 2K8 Wii Home Run Derby during spring training games for the Boston Red Sox, the LA Dodgers, and the Florida Marlins. Guinness World Records will be on hand at the City of Palms Park, the Red Sox’s spring home in Ft. Myers, Florida on 3/14, at Roger Dean Stadium, the Marlin’s spring training stadium in Jupiter, Florida on 3/15, and Holman Stadium, the Dodger’s spring training home in Vero Beach, Florida on 3/16 to judge fans and pros as they attempt to set new Guinness World Records in three Home Run Derby categories; most home runs hit with 10 outs, most home runs hit consecutively, and furthest distance hit for a home run.
Participation in the event is free to all ticket holders attending the spring training games. Additionally, 2K Sports will be giving away copies of MLB 2K8 for the Wii to select game attendees.

Friday, March 14 – City of Palms Park, Ft. Myers, Florida
Saturday, March 15 – Roger Dean Stadium, Jupiter, Florida
Sunday, March 16 – Holman Stadium, Vero Beach, Florida
